March For Our Lives 2018
This is another BSP film. On March 24, 2018, a group of high school students organized a rally at Washington Park in Dubuque, Iowa in conjunction with a nationwide march against the many school shootings that were occurring within our society. These students were socially and respectfully committed to help safeguard students in their community and throughout our Country against violence in our schools. An estimated 300 – 400 citizen participated in this rally.
Suicide Should Not Be An Option 2015/16 This is a BSP preview of this documentary that captivates the thoughts of suicide and mental health, the social stigma that suicide should not be talked about, and the dilemma that society doesn't know what to say and feels very uncomfortable talking to families who have lost loved ones to suicide. Empathy and understanding of suicide and mental illness are very important issue facing society.
Depression has no age limits. Almost everyone experiences some form of depression at some point in their life. Suicide Should Not Be An Option was shown at Mindframe Theaters April 6, 2016 to a standing room audience, about 300 viewer audience.
Veterans Yesterday Today Tomorrow 2017 This is a preview of another BSP film about local Veterans telling their story about what is was like before, during, and after their duty to Country. Thirteen Veterans from the Tri-State area, wanted their voices to be heard, to educate fellow Americans about the first hand travesty and reality of military service and war. Veterans from The Freedom Center, and American Legion gave chilling and heartfelt testimonies about what it was like being a soldier in the U. S. military and their experience of combat. What these Veterans thought about for the future of soldiers from Yesterday Today Tomorrow was a very significant part of the film for society to contemplate and take to heart.
Veterans Yesterday Today Tomorrow was shown at Mindframe Theaters to a near capacity audience November 8, 2017.
Veterans Day Should Be Every Day
The Forgiving and the Forgetting 2015 Blu Skye Productions went to Chicago, Illinois to work with Healing Moments organization documenting a play about a day in a life of Alzheimer's. We spent three days filming this play under the direction of Karen Fort of Chicago and Suzanne Wright of Dubuque and later made it into a movie. The play was performed by 10 professional actors from Chicago, March 22, 2015.

Dr. Rev. Angelica created Healing Moments Alzheimer's Ministry (www.healingmoments.org). She wrote this play with some friends and the play was previously performed in Dubuque, Iowa and Los Angeles, California.
Homeless Nation 2018 This BSP preview of the film, featured four men who are homeless, who volunteered to give insight about being homeless, to give back to those who have helped them and to help others who may become homeless. Included in the film were advocates who work with people who are homeless or about to be homeless. The Dubuque Rescue Mission and staff contributed their role working with people who are currently homeless, Todd Lang, an advocate for homelessness, gave an inspiring perspective of his insight. Mary B. Deutsch represented the Dubuque Community School District about children and families that may be in our school system. Dr. Rev. Jade Angelica offered a heartfelt and compassionate view of what it is like to be homeless and some important insight on how to cope and address this social dilemma.

Ghost People: Seeing all the People 2014 Blu Skye Productions collaboration with a group of independent film makers, Grifin (Greater River Film Initiative), commissioned by Dubuque Downtown Christian Outreach. The DDCO are downtown churches getting together once a month and occasionally do a project for the residence of downtown. This documentary was one of their projects.
Ghost People, under the direction of Jade Angelica (DDCO) and Suzanne Wright (GRIFIN), is a short documentary about raising public awareness of homelessness in Dubuque particular the downtown area. It is available at the Carnegie Stout Public Library. It was accepted into the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival in April 2015.
This Blu Skye Productions film occurred in Dubuque, Iowa October of 2016. Artist from around the country arrive for a week in the fall to paint the remarkable architectures and landscapes in and around Dubuque. Their paintings were exhibited and sold to the public at the end of the event along with other paintings from their portfolios. This was the first annual event
